Welcome to Ruka Hideaway – a unique log villa on the shore of Moisasenlampi, in the middle of the pure nature of Kuusamo. This cozy and modernly equipped holiday villa offers the perfect combination of peace, comfort and activities all year round.

The morning starts gently, when you wake up to the scenery opening from the large windows of the bedrooms. In the summer you can take a dip directly in the pond and in the winter you can admire the pine trees by the fireplace or in the warm outdoor jacuzzi under the glow of the northern lights.

Space for relaxation and togetherness

Ruka Hideaway’s 115 m² consists of the main cabin and a separate sauna building. Accommodation for 4+1 people, a spacious living area, two bathrooms, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen and an atmospheric fireplace and high-quality sound make your vacation easy and enjoyable. There is an extra bed for one person in the sauna room.

Nature next door – activities nearby

The villa is located in a quiet location, only 3 km from Ruka village. The nearest ski slope is less than a kilometer away, and the skibus runs conveniently only 2 km away. In the winter you can enjoy the days on the slopes and in the summer hike, paddle or just relax on the pier. The nearby 19 km ski run of Kuontivaara offers an authentic wilderness atmosphere and along the route you can stop at a charming ski cafe.

Everything you need from your vacation

At the end of the day, you can choose: do you heat up a traditional wooden sauna, take a dip in the jacuzzi or curl up on the big sofa in the living room for a movie night? After a good night’s sleep, you are ready for new experiences.
