In late 2023, we launched a completely new rental service that offers high-quality accommodation in Lapland and Northern Finland. We also connect both domestic and international tourists with local activity and experience services.

Listening to the needs of holiday home owners, we have created a new, full-service TotalHost concept for holiday home owners. The service makes renting extremely hassle-free, covering virtually all the work involved in renting a property – across all the most efficient sales channels. So we take care of the presentation, photography and styling, multi-channel listing, marketing and rental of your property not only on our own hillavillas.com channel, but also on other channels such as Booking.com, AirBnB, Nettimökki and our international travel agency partners.

We estimate that we reach around 90% of potential tourists to Lapland and Northern Finland, so visibility is not the only factor that affects our rental business. We also campaign regularly on the many channels of our co-owners Bo LKV and Alma Media.

Our TotalHost clients also receive a first-class styling and pictures of the property, presentation content, pricing proposal, forwarding and cleaning services, and financial management. All this in one contract – clear and easy.

We continuously seek the best rental price on the market for your property through dynamic pricing, which takes into account, for example, seasonal fluctuations and changes in market conditions based on data.

Our Story in Brief

The founders of Hilla Villas own villas in Lapland themselves and have close connections to the region’s accommodation and tourism industry. Many of us live in Lapland and work locally within accommodation and experience services.

The idea for Hilla Villas was born from a desire to modernise the villa rental and tourism service market while searching for a high-quality and reasonably priced rental solution for our own properties. We found that villa owners were often paying commission fees of around 20% of the rental income, while there was no operator truly specialised in premium villa rentals. At the same time, activities and experiences were not conveniently available through the same platform.

We felt there was a need for something better, and Hilla Villas was created to answer that need.

We believe the future of tourism in Lapland will be different.
