GENERAL INFORMATION
Electronic Door Lock
The front door is equipped with an electronic keypad lock. The door locks automatically 5-10 seconds after closing. Locking is confirmed by an audible signal and a red indicator light.
The access code has been sent to you by a message or email. The same code works for both lower-level entrance doors.

Opening the Door from the Inside

Always ensure that the door is fully locked when entering or leaving the cabin.
Please do not keep the door open for extended periods in cold weather, as this will affect the indoor temperature and heating. The floors may also freeze if the door is kept open for a long time during severe frost.

Additional clean linens and towels are stored in the cabinets of the utility room. These are reserved for the next guests and must not be used. If you use this, an additional fee will be charged separately after your stay.
If you wish to wash towels or linens, please use the washing machine and dryer located in the utility room.
Before using the washing machine, remember to open the water valve:
– Open position: vertical (12–6 o’clock)
– Closed position: horizontal (9–3 o’clock)

CANDLES
The cabin is equipped with LED candles only.
The use of real candles is strictly prohibited.
————————————————–
SAUNA
The sauna heater is a Harvia model.
The sauna is turned on and off using the control panel located inside the sauna, from the button in the lower-left corner.
The sauna temperature is set to 73°C, providing comfortable and even heat.
The sauna operates for 3 hours per session. If you wish to continue bathing, the sauna must be turned on again.
Do not pour scented oils or other substances onto the heater.
Do not dry clothes or towels in the sauna, as this poses a serious fire hazard.
————————————————–
SMOKING
The cabin is completely smoke-free indoors.
If you smoke outdoors, please dispose of cigarette butts in an empty can or similar container.
Do not throw cigarette butts into the snow or yard, as they are difficult to remove from the surrounding vegetation.

FIREPLACE
IMPORTANT:
If you are not experienced in using a fireplace in cold conditions, we do not recommend using it.
In cold or humid weather, or during low air pressure, an airlock may form in the chimney. This may cause smoke to flow back into the cabin instead of exiting through the chimney, typically within 5–15 minutes after lighting the fire.
To prevent this, the chimney must be preheated slowly for at least 15–30 minutes, for example using newspaper or birch bark.
Before lighting the fireplace, open the chimney damper using the control lever. The damper is opened by pulling the control knob fully outward.

Firewood is stored under the terrace next to the front door.
Once the embers have completely extinguished, close the chimney damper by pushing the control knob back in.

HEATING AND VENTILATION
Ventilation is preset to level 2, which provides sufficient fresh air.
The ventilation control panel is located on the kitchen end wall.
Ventilation strength can be adjusted using the + and – buttons.

During sauna use, increase ventilation to level 5 and keep it at that level for approximately 25 minutes after finishing.
After this, reduce ventilation back to level 2.
When the fireplace is in use, ventilation must be set to level 1.
The house is heated by water-circulated underfloor heating powered by geothermal energy.
There are no room-specific thermostats; temperature regulation is automatic.
Bedroom windows shall not be opened during winter, as this causes the heating system to overcompensate and overheat the house.

Do not leave food in cabinets, freezer, refrigerator, or on tables.
Salt, pepper, and cooking oil may be left in the cabinet above the stove.
Leave the kitchen and all rooms in the same condition as upon arrival.

Load all dishes into the dishwasher, run the 70°C program, and open the water valve if you are still present at the time dishwasher ends.
Bed linens may be left on the beds.
Final cleaning is included in the rental price. However, the cabin must not be left excessively dirty, as the cleaning staff operates on a tight schedule.
If ski lift passes were used, place them in an envelope and return them to the same drawer where they were originally stored.
Empty bottles and cans should be placed in a plastic bag at the corner of the terrace to prevent them from being blown away.

Any broken furniture, dishes, or other items must be reported immediately.
